- 1kg Pork belly strips
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Sliced spring onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Marinate the Pork: In a bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Add the pork belly strips and ensure they are well-coated with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, or for better flavour, overnight in the fridge.
- Prepare to Cook: Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook the Pork: Place the pork belly strips in the pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely caramelized and cooked through. The honey in the marinade will help to get a nice glaze.
- Serve: Once cooked, transfer the pork belly strips to a serving plate. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions.
- Presentation Tip: Serve with a side of steamed rice and green vegetables for a complete meal.
